The George withdraw
Owing to a shortage of players and being unable to field a full team, The George from St Marybourne have taken the decision to withdraw from the league.
All league results to date will be stripped from the table and a bye placed against forthcoming fixtures.
As from 11th October 2015, the players signed to The George, as per the league registration, are now considered null and void, therefore, these players are now considered free agents and can sign for other teams.

Andy Deavall regains Captains Cup
A good turnout at the Captains Cup saw thoroughly deserved winner, Andy Deavall, score heavily in the final including a 180 and 2 x 140. Finishing well, Andy beat Graham Howard with 17, 19 and 20 dart legs achieving a 26.84 average per dart.
Graham had no complaints being beaten by the better player on the day. Graham himself beat last year’s winner, Andy Harvey, 3-2 in the semi final. Andy Deavall beat Barry Turner 3-0 in the 2nd semi final.
Captains Cup to kick off Season
The Captains Cup will mark the start of the 2015/16 season. This competition will be held at the Walnut Tree in Appleshaw and is only open to registered team captains; substitutions are not accepted. Players are to report to the venue before 8pm.
AGM – Friday 31st July
Preparations for the new season are under way and the AGM will be held at the Andover Royal British Legion on Friday 31st July 2015.
It is recommended that Team captains attend the meeting. There have been some suggestions put forward to the league so if you want a vote, please turn up.
